CELEBRATION I
In special collaboration with Fortnum & Mason for London Design Festival, Jaime Hayon presents Celebration 1, an art installation crystallising 25 years of creativity of his art & design studio. Celebration 1 will take over Fortnum & Mason’s shop windows and atrium in London, showcasing a curated selection of works by the artist and his studio, in a colourful scenography reflecting Hayon’s signature universe.
Jaime Hayon’s work takes root in a deep respect for tradition and international artistry, to which he applies his distinctive style and innovative approach. Drawing inspiration from a rich tapestry of geographical influences, ancient techniques, and common folkloric themes, Jaime Hayon is recognised as a pivotal figure in the dialogue between art, craftsmanship and design.
This retrospective installation celebrates decades of radical creative innovation through silhouettes in motion, odd shapes, bright hues and friendly beasts, including a wide spectrum of materials ceramics, bronze, glass, and wood—each chosen as examples of Jaime Hayon’s creative virtuosity.
MALABARISTA
Renowned artist and designer Jaime Hayon unveils a mesmerising installation that embodies the essence of a juggler. The project showcases laser-cut panels intricately inspired by the cosmos of Jaime’s art, featuring silhouettes that depict a mesmerising walking man effortlessly juggling amidst stars and celestial elements.
This striking representation symbolizes Jaime’s unique perspective on creativity, where life itself becomes a dynamic juggling act, using materials and experiences as tools for artistic exploration.
