High Love is a public sculpture by artist Jaime Hayon, installed on August 5th in a garden in the heart of Seoul, Korea. The artwork is located in a community space near the river, intended to be a place for gathering and reflection.

The sculpture, which stands on a circular base in a grassy area, is a tall, humanized figure with long, wavy limbs and an expressive face. The figure holds a golden, heart-shaped object high above its head and appears to be wearing golden sandals.

Crafted from aluminum with a micro-cement stone powder and resin finish, the sculpture also features bronze details, notably the golden sandals and the heart.

Hayon describes the artwork as representing the long and hopeful journey to find true love. The sculpture embodies the idea that love is a force that lifts us and gives life meaning. For Hayon, who has created many public art pieces over the past eight years, sculpture is a powerful medium for expressing what words often cannot. High Love brings his unique, imaginary world into a shared public space, telling a story through a whimsical creature in curious shoes.
