FAUNA by HAYON
The tapestries are unique pieces, created as wall hangings, measuring almost three meters in length. Using different yarn textures gives them an interesting structure. Using single and double weave makes it possible to produce some parts of the wall hanging flat and other parts convex.
The Birds tapestry is part of the Tilburg Textile Museum collection and was first shown at the ‘Eyes on Nature: Wall Hangings’ exhibition in Tillburg, the Netherlands, 2013.
