BD Barcelona presents ECLIPSO collection by Jaime Hayon at Salone del Mobile 2025
Jaime Hayon boasts one of the most decorated careers in contemporary design, with each project reflecting his deeply personal vision. After leading the design team at Fabrica, Benetton’s research hub, Hayon launched his own practice in 2001. His long-standing partnership with BD has resulted in iconic, award-winning designs, now culminating in his latest and most playful collection: ECLIPSO.
The official launch will take place at Salone del Mobile 2025, Pavilion 18 C06, where visitors can experience the collection firsthand alongside other notable releases, including WORKPLACE B and WING bench by Konstantin Grcic, STEDELIJK CHAIR COLOUR by Sabine Marcelis, and an exclusive preview of the SIMPLEX chair by Oscar Tusquets, the reissue of the SHOWTIME CHAIR by Jaime Hayon and the PILLOW Sofa x KASSL by Muller Van Severen.
The idea behind ECLIPSO came from my desire to return to simplicity, what I call ‘the minimum with the maximum’ Hayon explains.
The name ECLIPSO evokes the magic of a lunar eclipse, where light plays with rounded forms. Inspired by nature, architecture, and emotional balance, the collection embodies transparency and harmony.
With rounded edges and soft forms, ECLIPSO is both visually appealing and comfortable. Its earthy color palette—brown, red, blue, beige, and green combines retro charm with modern relevance, offering warmth while complementing a wide variety of interior styles.
