ASK FOR OUR PRESS FILE

The House of Fritz Hansen Bangkok, a 1950s wooden/concrete residence, has been reimagined as a showroom for timeless Nordic furniture. Our interior design concept transformed the previously obstructed front area into a welcoming green space. Inspired by the iconic curves of Fritz Hansen’s furniture, such as the Egg and Swan Chairs, the landscape design integrates flowing lines and organic forms into the layout and circulation. Lush plantings, selected for their texture and shape, guide visitors through a nature-filled transition into the showroom.

Thoughtfully curated elements, including a striking sculpture by Jaime Hayon, enhance the exterior, seamlessly blending the garden with the elegant interior. The striped, black and white rabbit sculpture he created adds a playful welcome to the garden in front of the building. The new interiors of the house by Hayon emit a retro-futurism feel, with curved doorways and pastel colours. During the Jaime Hayon Design Showcase, furniture and décor pieces that Hayon designed for Fritz Hansen were highlighted, alongside a handful of abstract paintings he had created while in quarantine in Bangkok.
